Spasmolytique de type papavérinique ayant une action au niveau des vaisseaux, des bronches, de l’intestin, de l’uretère et de la vésicule bilaire.
Spasmolytique musculotrope: agit directement sur la fibre lisse et se comporte comme un antagoniste du calcium au niveau de la membrane cellulaire, élève le 3’5’AMP par inhibition de la phosphodiéstérase.
Effet sensible surtout sur un tonus musculaire exagéré.

Posologie et mode d’administration
Dose usuelle chez l’adulte:
– par voie orale: Dix à treznte milligrammes par jour.
– par voie rectale: Vingt à soixante milligrammes par jour.
– par voie parentérale: Dix à quarante milligrammes par jour.
